For C-section, I recommend choosing the bed nearer to the toilet as the hospital will ask you to get up from your bed on the 2nd day after surgery. Can be very painful to walk.. sitting down is also very painful plus hospitals toilets are a bit lower to fit the wheelchair patients. They will ask you to press the pillow on the tummy when walking and there are some guidelines getting out of the bed, the hospital staff will teach you.
I thought urine cone for woman can be quite useful as you can pee standing up instead of keep bending down and suffer the pain. Like i've said, their toilet bowl is much lower. Can order from Amazon.
After surgery pain was my only complain for having c-section. By the time I'm discharged, the pain is almost bearable.
After giving birth, I developed major itchy rash all over. GP cant detect what it was, but later found out - usually after having your first baby boy, your body developed allergic reaction to your baby's hormones that still stay in you body, some refer it as Postpartum rash. Doesnt apply to all woman but it happens. Just don't scratch too much, cold compression, calamine lotion, aloe vera lotion, whatever floats your boat. It goes away after bout 2 months plus for me. I didnt eat any anti histamine as i was breast feeding and I try to stay away as much medications as possible. I stop my painkillers after 2 weeks discharge but thats just me. You can ask your GP to prescribe something safe for breast feeding.
