PRC wife, troublemaker in Singapore.

It is common now to see an old man walking down the street with a young, not necessary pretty, but very much younger PRC woman. Stories of people cheated by these woman, for money or for visa, PR, citizenship etc. are everywhere and these "uncles" knows and seen live examples with their own eyes. Yet they still fell for it and is embarrassing that one of these victims is my father.

I'm currently 7 plus month pregnant, running up and down, in and out of Family Court and my lawyer's office to settle this mess done by my father, being illiterate, my father has no knowledge on how to deal with it and we have to take over the problem. I really hope if there's a chance that someone read it can prevent the same tragedy happen to their family.

My mother passed away 13 years ago. Our family moved along fine until he entangled with these china women 5 years ago. Hanging around with bad peers that chill out at Geylang, decided to pick up smoking at this age (duh!), keep pestering me to pack my room neatly so that his "female friend" can stay here, countless of problems, and then ultimatum happen once in a while where he wipe out his cash capital for his fish monger business, ask us to sell away our insurance policies to get him money, borrow large amount of money from friends even tried to do illegal stuff and got caught. In between every ultimatum he will stay dormant for awhile.

His problems stop when he met a local single mother of three and both of them gets along very well, and this auntie is independent, smart, has her own job to keep her active and her kids are sweet and beautiful, all of us get along very well. But they stop hanging out when my father met another china woman. She stayed in my room as I moved out to stay with my fiancé.

28 Jan, my father married this woman despite our protest and extended her visa. We went rushing around seeing lawyer, setting will, placing my brother as the joint tenancy for the house before they register. 14 Feb, my father called and said he and the wife is over, she locked my father outside the house, refuse to let him in, so my dad called the police, another man picked her up and left. A police case was raised against her as well. Apparently, during these 2 weeks worth of marriage she was never at home and always visits the casino and wiped out my father's money. My father with advice from the nice auntie that I mentioned earlier, to cancelled her long term visa as he is the guarantor and consult a lawyer whether we can annul the marriage. At the same time due to his health conditions, he terminate his stall rental and stop working.

Then we received a letter from Women's Charter for court mediation on the 18 march. That china woman apparently went to the Woman's Charter to sue my dad, as of February, not receiving allowance and maintainence fee. I even called up Woman's Charter about it, why they don't carry out investigation and just issue summons blindly. But anyway we went for the first mediation, we(the kids) have to wait outside, she was shouting inside the room at my father, the mediator asked my brother to go in and she shouted at my brother as well, demanded an monthly alimony fee of $1500 or lump sum 20 k sing dollars - for a period of 2 weeks marriage...... What a joke! My brother wanted to negotiate the sum to lower amount to settle the problem. But I told him I will hire a lawyer, she won't get anything.

A second mediation was arranged and these time I was the one accompanying my dad, that woman demand an air ticket back and 10k alimony. I told the mediator, "ask her to swim back to china, not 1cent", we will hire a lawyer for this. For the two mediation, 2 different man accompanied her. The first man was the same man that picked her when she got chased out by the police. He was refrained from seeing her after the first mediation, we were being contacted by his family members that she turned the house upside down. So second mediation she approached another man to accompany her.
While waiting to see the judge to file up the case, I was staring at them, both of them don't dare to look me. She only dare to bully my brother and my father as they willing to negotiate and compromise, but not me.

I got my lawyer to represent us, today our lawyer represent my father in court and counter sue her with motive to marry my father based on the fact that she's in her 30s and my dad is in his 60s and the duration of the marriage. The case is being postponed to 3 weeks later as requested by my lawyer. The next court hearing will be on the 5th May. Will update the outcome soon.

I've also received an SMS from the family that she wrecked, the china woman called them and ask what evidence did she give us because we counter sue her.

Yes some PRC women succeed, but she screw the wrong daughter's father this time.
